SM-Mobile is a field service management application designed to enable technicians and supervisors to efficiently track scheduled appointments over various time frames, such as daily, weekly, or custom periods. The application retrieves scheduling data from the company's central server and presents it on mobile devices, providing users with immediate access to their upcoming jobs. With a simple tap, users can view detailed information about each appointment.

Furthermore, SM-Mobile facilitates on-site interactions by allowing technicians to capture customer signatures, take photographs at job sites, and process payments, including credit card transactions. All these activities are recorded within the app, ensuring comprehensive documentation of each service visit.

The platform is developed to integrate seamlessly with Scheduling Manager, a multi-functional software suite that combines scheduling, accounting, and CRM functionalities tailored for service-oriented businesses provided by Thoughtful Systems.

Additional features include map views of all scheduled jobs for the day or individual appointments. Technicians can also record notes concerning each task, log payment details, and specify start and end times. All mobile data is synchronized with the company’s server and subsequently incorporated into Scheduling Manager for centralized management and reporting.

SM-Mobile is suitable for a diverse range of field service industries, including residential cleaning, HVAC and electrical repairs, home healthcare, liquid waste management, pest control, fire extinguisher services, and other service sector operations.
